Mid-stay and deep clean

Long stays and slow weeks, handled between guests.

A mid-stay visit for long bookings and a deep clean for the gaps in the calendar.

A two-week booking needs a visit in the middle, and a slow week is the time for the jobs a turnover has no room for. Both are booked on the same calendar, and the same report comes back.

What the two visits cover

  • A mid-stay visit for bookings over a week

  • Trash, towels and kitchen reset

  • A deep clean for the gaps in your calendar

  • Appliance and baseboard work

  • Windows and balcony doors

  • A photo report either way

The deep-clean list

What a slow week is for.

A mid-stay is a light reset. A deep clean goes where a turnover does not.

Mid-stay reset

  • Trash and recycling out

  • Towels swapped, beds not touched unless asked

  • Kitchen wiped and dishes done

  • Bathroom wiped

  • Floors vacuumed

Kitchen deep

  • Oven and stovetop

  • Inside the fridge and freezer

  • Cabinet fronts and handles

  • Microwave and small appliances

Bathroom deep

  • Grout and tile

  • Showerhead and fixtures

  • Exhaust fan cover

  • Under the sink

Whole unit

  • Baseboards and doors

  • Interior windows and tracks

  • Light fixtures and fan blades

  • Behind and under furniture that moves easily

Beside the checklist

What is extra, and what we do not do.

A deep clean is quoted from the walk-through and priced by the hour or the unit.

  • Extra, priced when you ask

    • Carpet or upholstery cleaning, through a partner

    • Hot tub or grill reset

    • Balcony and patio washdown

    • Inside the washer and dryer

  • We do not do

    • Mold or biohazard cleanup

    • Exterior windows above the first floor

    • Moving appliances or heavy furniture

    • Repairs and painting

How it goes

How it is booked.

Both visits use your calendar and the same crew.

  1. Step 1: We see the long booking

Anything over a week gets a mid-stay offer by text.

  2. Step 2: You say yes or no

A text is enough. No reply means no visit.

  3. Step 3: The crew goes in at an agreed time

Usually when the guest is out, and always by agreement with you.

  4. Step 4: The report comes back

    The same photographed checklist, shorter.

What moves the number

What sets the rate.

Mid-stays are priced per visit; deep cleans are priced from the walk-through.

  • Size of the unit

Square footage and the number of bathrooms set the base.

  • Scope

Windows, appliances and baseboards each add time.

  • The gap

A quiet week lets us work with one person; a short gap needs two.

Short answers

Questions about this job.

Do guests need to be out?

For a mid-stay, we ask the guest for a window through you, and we reschedule if they say no.

How often should I book a deep clean?

It depends on the unit and the season. We suggest a time at the monthly walk-through and you decide.

Is the report different?

Shorter, but the same: photographs of what we did and flags for anything we found.
